Job description

Lorin Industries is a leading West Michigan Manufacturing Company who has an opportunity for a positive professional who believes in providing the highest quality of service to join our Logistics Team as a Logistics Team Member.

The candidates we are looking for will be self-starters and have a solid work history. The ideal candidate will be goal oriented, self-motivated, committed to achieving results and have the ability to work in a team environment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Load and unload trucks, inspecting loads and skids for damage.
  • Processing of all shipping and receiving documents
  • Package and ship all parcel packages
  • Prepare material being shipped from inventory
  • Responsible for processing recyclables and scrap
  • Delivery and Pickup of parts

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a logistics position.
  • Attention to detail is a must
  • Excellent written and verbal communication required
  • Computer knowledge to include Word, Excel, and proficient data entry skills is a must
  • Must have or be able to get a chauffeur’s license
