Light Industrial - Assembler
Location: Oldsmar, FL, 34677, United States
Shift: Mon-Thurs 5 AM-3:30 PM EST
[About the Role]
Join our dynamic production team as a Light Industrial Assembler, working hands-on with electronic and mechanical assemblies. This role offers the chance to build critical components, learn new skills, and advance your career in a supportive, growth-oriented environment.
[Responsibilities]
- Assemble electronic and mechanical parts, including modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables using both hand and power tools
- Interpret diagrams and drawings to perform precise production assembly tasks
- Make initial layouts and conduct continuity checks on completed work
- Perform quality inspections to ensure all products meet rigorous specifications
- Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test prototype assemblies as required
- Collaborate with team members to solve problems and drive process improvements
[Required Skills and Experience]
- Minimum 15 years of hands-on experience as an assembler in a light industrial or electronics manufacturing setting
- Proficiency in reading and working from technical diagrams and assembly drawings
- Skilled in using hand and power tools, jigs, and saws for assembly tasks
- Experience performing quality control checks and adhering to strict quality standards
[Preferred Skills]
- IPC 610 soldering experience (strongly preferred; top pay for candidates with several years of IPC 610 experience)
