Job description

Description:

Command Light, a subsidiary of Super Vac, has helped emergency departments elevate their scene lighting for decades with an assortment of patented light towers and traffic advisors that help roadway responders illuminate nighttime scenes, keeping both the crew and our community safe.

We are looking for an energetic, self-starting Mechanical Assembler for our Command Light division. If you are interested in building equipment that helps save lives, please apply.


Essential Functions:

  • Operate hand and power shop tools
  • Read schematics/prints
  • Assemble electrical parts 
  • Learn and apply valuable skills, and gain useful knowledge
  • Able to take initiative and problem-solve
  • Other duties as assigned 
Requirements:
  • Electrical assembly experience preferred
  • Mechanical aptitude required
  • Must be able to follow directions and pay attention to detail
  • Able to contribute in a fast paced/team atmosphere
  • Able to meet deadlines
  • Able to obtain forklift certification
  • Ability to walk/stand for long periods of time, ability to bend and twist
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical agility test and criminal background check
  • Must be able to lift 70+ pounds
  • Must be able to climb ladders
