Job description

Warehouse Associate

Essential functions include:

  • Receiving all inbound orders into WMS: spring water, resin, corrugated materials, film, labels, UPS deliveries, Federal Express deliveries, water transfer as needed
  • Rebuilding damaged pallets prior to restock
  • Processing RMA's
  • Consolidating finished goods storage for maximum storage capabilities
  • Identifying, reporting and observing quality issues with finished goods and RMS
  • Validating new SKU's in WMS to ensure proper LGV storage and handling
  • Correcting LGV alarms
  • Monitoring loads
  • Unloading finished goods and raw material deliveries utilizing a forklift
  • Maintaining pallet storage area; offloading pallets from trailers and staging for LGV's to pick up
  • Correcting product spills
  • Manually pulling pallets from production as needed
  • Supplying production with non-inventory items (glue, bags, labels etc.)
  • Air bag loads
  • Clearing up blocked locations in WMS
  • May be required to operate a forklift when needed
  • Facilitating the flow of information between logistics, production and sales to ensure timely and accurate service to customer base
  • Testing and monitoring resin and spring water
  • Coordinating preload activities including inspecting trailers to ensure all loads are completed on time
  • Checking in trucks and communicating loading instructions to forklift drivers
  • Providing correct loading document/bills of lading and truck seals upon leaving the facility
  • Maintaining appropriate records and reports required for daily shipping and inventory control
  • Involvement in continued process improvement and cost reduction
  • Maintaining a clean, orderly and safe warehouse
  • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job
  • Answers/makes phone calls using proper phone etiquette
  • Communicates with inside and outside contacts to ensure loading of trucks on time and troubleshoot any issues
  • Coordinates with transportation and production/scheduling to ensure all shipments are flowing in and out of warehouse as scheduled
