Job description

Part-Time CFI - Helicopter

Location: Grand Forks

Salary/Position Classification
  • $20-$35 Hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
  • 5 hours per week
  • This position requires you to work onsite at our Grand Forks, ND campus.
Purpose of Position

To conduct flight training for students enrolled in helicopter flight labs.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Conduct flight and ground training with students.
  • Maintain student records.
  • Duties will depend on which level the applicant is hired for and on the certifications of the applicant.
Required Competencies
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
Minimum Requirements
  • Commercial Helicopter Pilot Certificate & Instrument Rating.
  • Flight Instructor Certificate.
  • R44 Instructor Endorsement.
  • Instrument Instructor Certificate
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check

In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the US and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications
  • FAA Class II Medical.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent flight experience.
  • Part 141 instructor experience.
  • Robinson Safety Course within the past 10 years.
