Data Center Engineer

The Opportunity:

Designs, installs, configures, and maintains the organization's IT infrastructure to meet the business needs, monitors and troubleshoots problems. Applies advanced skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge. Develops innovative solutions to complex problems. Works without considerable direction. Mentors and may supervise team members.

You Have:

• 3+ years of experience as a Systems Network Engineer or Hardware Engineer

• 3+ years of experience with Internet Protocol (IP), Virtual Private Networks (VPN), Switch, Router standup, configuration or general Internet Security capabilities

• Experience with Lab or data center management

• Experience with Linux, Unix, or Windows Administration

• Experience with VMWare installation or configuration

• Experience with building or configuring servers

• Secret clearance

• HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

• Experience in building cloud to on-prem architectures

• Knowledge of Cloud technologies

• TS/SCI clearance

• CISCO Certifications

• Security Certifications

• AI fundamentals Certification

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
