Summary
To conduct research in a laboratory setting on various silicon based polymeric materials.

  • Conduct chemical reactions to synthesize new materials
  • Characterize new materials
  • Maintain a laboratory notebook
  • Present research findings weekly

Minimum Qualifications
  • Junior standing or higher
  • Have taken CHEM 3410 and CHEM 3440
  • Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Physics, Medical Sciences, Forensics, or Geology Major
  • Previous laboratory research experience in the Furgal Laboratory (SURF, CURS, or Credit)
