Job Summary
The Plumber is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial environments. This role requires strong technical knowledge across water distribution, drainage, specialty pumping systems, and advanced service techniques, including tankless water heaters, water filtration systems, booster and lift station pumps, and hydrojetting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems
- Diagnose plumbing issues using appropriate tools
- Install and service tankless and traditional water heaters
- Install and maintain water filtration and treatment systems
- Service booster pumps and lift station pump systems
- Perform hydrojetting and advanced drain cleaning
- Operate tractors or heavy equipment when required
- Read blueprints and manufacturer specifications
- Ensure compliance with plumbing codes and safety standards
- Document work performed using service software
Requirements
Required Skills and Technical Competencies
- Knowledge of plumbing systems and codes
- Water filtration and treatment systems experience
- Tankless water heater expertise
- Booster pump and lift station pump knowledge
- Hydrojetting experience
- Tractor or heavy equipment operation skills
- Mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Strong customer service and communication
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- 3-5 years of plumbing experience preferred
