Join us as an Entry Level Chemical Regulatory Analyst, where you'll put your love of science to work in the Scientific Insourcing department. You'll receive all the training you need to successfully take on your new role and grow an exciting laboratory sciences career at Pace.

Candidate will analyze customer products to maintain regulatory compliance, and complete data gaps for compliance in this intermediate to upper-intermediate scientific, non-laboratory position. We are looking for a team player who is self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects.This is a non-lab role.

Compensation: $21.00 - 23.00 per hour

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Global Chemical Compliance Specialistis responsible forparticipatingin governance processes that ensure compliance with chemical substance registration regulations across the globe.This position is part of aglobalteam that provides a full spectrum ofchemical substance regulatorysupport to business groups and functional areas from all divisions in the company including technical, R&D, marketing, product stewardship, and sales teams.Candidate will review internal and external products and raw materials to evaluate andmaintainchemical compliance in this entry-level scientific, non-laboratory position. We are looking for a team player who is self-motivated, able tomaintainhigh quality while handling repetitive tasks, and manage multiple projects for different stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review regulatory requirements which apply to RM's andFG'sacross Divisions

  • Gather and review of compliance information from suppliers

  • Assistin product level compliance reviews as needed

  • Respond routinely to internal customer inquiries

  • Assistin data gathering for other team members that are responding to regulatory reporting requirements, complex customer inquiries, or certification statements

  • Routine interactions with internal customers and outside suppliers

  • Support all Divisions, multiple regulatoryareasand multiple regions

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

  • Bachelor of Science (Chemistry or related field)

  • Fluent in spoken and written English

  • Minimum 1-2 years Regulatory or Compliance related experience in the Chemical Industry

  • Must have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Must be able to handle repetitive tasks involvinglarge amountsof data

  • Must haveproficiencywith Microsoft Office Products, including Excel

  • Must be comfortable learning new and varied computer systems

Preferred:

  • Familiarity and understanding of Regulations governing chemicals, their use, environmental impact, and associated hazards in the coatings industry (ex. Chemical Inventory Control laws, REACH, GHS,etc).

  • 1-2 years Regulatory or Compliance related experience in the Chemical Industry and/or 1-2 years Laboratory/Formulation Experience

  • Experience with existing Sherwin Williams compliance software (ex: RMDM, WERCS, HEARS)
