Software Engineer

Onsite Location: Aurora, CO

Required: TS/SCI Clearance

No 1099, No third parties, no C2C, No Visas or Green Cards No exceptions (Sorry)

W2 Hourly Contract Only

$85 - $140.00 per hour based on yrs of experience and benefits package

***No C2C, we can NOT work with outside agencies/vendors, and we can NOT do 1099 

TS/SCI CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED***

GeoLogics is seeking highly qualified, motivated, and technically talented TS/SCI Cleared Software Engineer experienced designing and developing object-oriented software using Java. and Java multi-threading.

Qualifications Required

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance 
  • A Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum of 8 -10+ years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
  • Experience designing and developing object-oriented software using Java.
  • Experience with Java multi-threading.
  • Experience developing planning & scheduling software or similar software systems.

For a more senior level:

  • Experience with microservices in cloud environments.
  • Experience developing planning & scheduling software or similar software systems.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing satellite planning and scheduling software.
  • Software development lifecycle experience using the SAFe Agile methodology.
  • Experience with microservices in an AWS environment using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Test Automation, DevSecOps, and CI/CD processes.
  • Experience with tools such as Confluence, Eclipse, Jira, Jenkins, Junit, Kafka, and Spring Boot.

For a more senior level:

  • Experience developing software using C++ and Python.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, deliver, and maintain software for cutting-edge satellite ground systems.
  • Work with a team of engineers, architects, and leaders in an Agile environment.

For a more senior level:

  • Architect and develop software for cutting edge satellite ground systems.
  • Evolve the current software and system architecture to support customer defined requirements.
  • Provide software engineering expertise for bids on future development activities.
  • Guide the full software lifecycle including design, development, test, delivery, and maintenance.
  • Foster modern DevSecOps development practices and utilize Agile processes.
