Position Overview
The 2nd Shift Bindery Operator is responsible for independently setting up and operating bindery equipment to produce high-quality finished products. This position requires hands-on experience with cutter, folder, and stitcher setup, the ability to work with minimal supervision, and a strong understanding of commercial printing bindery processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up, adjust, and operate bindery equipment to meet job specifications.
  • Independently perform machine setups on cutters, folders, and stitchers to meet job requirements and production standards.
  • Read and interpret job tickets, layouts, and production specifications.
  • Inspect work throughout production to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Troubleshoot machine and process issues and make necessary adjustments.
  • Maintain production schedules and meet deadlines during second shift operations.
