Overview

The Housekeeping Crew is an on-call, per-event employee who is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the Flint River Entertainment Complex venues by performing various cleaning duties within the seating area, concourse, restrooms, and locker rooms for various events.

This role pays an hourly rate of $10.00 - $12.00

This position will remain open until November 20, 2026.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms/bathrooms using established practices and procedures.
  • Clean, dust, and wipe furniture; sweep, mop, or vacuum floors; empty/clean wastebaskets and trash containers; refill restroom dispensers.
  • Use and maintain assigned equipment and hand tools.
  • Follow detailed instructions and communicate effectively with the team.ย 
  • Maintain an effective working relationship with other departments, clients, and patrons encountered in the course of employment.ย ย 
  • Works effectively under pressure and stringent schedules to produce accurate results.ย 
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience with housekeeping or maintenance at an auditorium or theater is preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED is preferred.
  • Must be a team player and perform tasks as assigned by supervisors.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects on a regular basis.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and bend on a continuous basis.
  • Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Shifts are generally evening/overnight and could range from 4 hours to 12 hours.
  • Must be able to work in a manner that is safe and effective.
