Job Summary

Joint the Team As a Concessions Beer Pourer, you will help create a fun, safe, and welcoming experience for guests during Utah Jazz, Utah Mammoth games, concerts, family shows, and other events. This position is responsible for serving alcoholic beverages, processing transactions, maintaining a clean and stocked work area, and following all responsible alcohol-service requirements. 

This is a great opportunity for someone who is friendly, dependable and comfortable working in a fast-paced event environment. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Model and promote Levy's Family Values: Nice, Innovative, Passionate, and Inclusive. 
  • Greet guests and provide friendly, efficient, and professional service. 
  • Take and process beverage orders using a point-of-sale system. 
  • Accurately process payments, vouchers, receipts, and guest transaction.
  • Check guest identification before serving alcohol in accordance with Levy policy. 
  • Follow all state, federal, local, and Levy alcohol-service requirements. 
  • Recognize and respond appropriately to signs of guest intoxication as trained. 
  • Set up, stock, and maintain assigned bar or beverage location before and during events. 
  • Serve beer, wine, spirits, and other beverages using standard recipes and portion control guidelines. 
  • Keep refrigerators, displays, products, cups, condiments, garnishes, and supplies stocked throughout service.
  • Maintain accurate product counts and properly secure beverage products, good items, and equipment. 
  • Keep the bar area clean, organized, safe, and guest-ready.
  • Arrange bottles, cups, and products to maintain an attractive and professional display.
  • Complete general cleaning tasks and follow all food-safety, sanitation, and workplace-safety standards. 
  • Work in different bar setups and beverage locations based on event needs. 
  • Complete additional duties as assigned. 

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bartending, beverage service,  cash-handling, or guest-service experience is preferred but not required. 
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. 
  • Friendly, professional, and guest-focused attitude. 
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Familiarity with food-safety standards and point-of-sale systems is preferred. 
  • Ability to work a flexible event-based schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and monthly inventory nights. 
  • Ability to stand for extended periods. 
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds. 
  • Must be 21 years of age or older. 
  • Must obtain and maintain valid Utah Food Handlers Permit
  • Must obtain and maintain valid Utah On-Premises Alcohol Certificate.
