Job description

The CNC Machinist is a valued member of our manufacturing crew, responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts. This role involves interpreting blueprints, adjusting tooling, inspecting quality, and performing minor machine repairs. Working primarily on a single day shift, the CNC Machinist has opportunities for growth into senior machinist or supervisory positions within the company.

Responsibilities

  • Set up CNC machines according to specifications and blueprints
  • Write and modify CNC programs as needed
  • Adjust tooling to maintain precision and efficiency
  • Inspect finished parts to ensure quality standards
  • Interpret and apply blueprint specifications
  • Perform minor repairs and maintenance on CNC equipment

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in CNC machining
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency in the operation of CNC Mill and Lathe and blueprint reading
  • Ability to write and modify CNC programs preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of machine setup and precision measurement
  • Understanding of tooling and mechanical aptitude
