Job description

Loader Position

The Loader position is responsible for performing loading finished product into bulk trailers.

Shift: Nights 9 pm - 5 am Monday-Friday

Primary Duties:

  • This is an hourly position that involves the loading of finished product bulk trailers. Good paperwork and documentation skills are a must in this position.
  • Position requires constant communication with Shift Miller to determine types of products being made off the Mill and what is in each finished product bin.
  • Filling out necessary paperwork to complete loads (trailer inspection, tailings checks, product retain samples, and COA's).
  • May be required to Load feed trucks.
  • Must keep current on the MSS that's required for their area.
  • Will have to conduct Fall Protection training.
  • Responsible for checking load out magnets daily
  • Responsible for running test pieces thru metal detects once per shift.
  • Must observe and utilize Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) as set forth by Miller Milling Company in accordance with BRC standards.
  • Responsibility to food safety regulations.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Strong problem solving abilities
  • Must be able to use, or learn to use the equipment and tools used to perform this job
  • Basic computer skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Proven written and verbal communication skills
  • Position requires the ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 pounds
