Monday Through Friday 8:30am-5:30pm
Job Description :
Responsible for the operation and organization of company warehousing operations including fleet. Plans, organizes and documents the delivery and issuing of supplies, equipment and chemical products. Maintain, schedule and document periodic maintenance of company vehicles and equipment. Stock, organize company equipment, dry goods, chemicals and tools. Provide handy man services and assist in project work. Support the mission, vision, and values of the company.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Maintaining chemical, dry goods and equipment inventories.
  2. Document and maintain accurate inventory control records in accordance with company procedures and policies.
  3. Order supplies as needed to maintain established par levels.
  4. Document and maintain periodic maintenance service schedules for company vehicles and equipment.
  5. Log and maintain accurate serial numbers and the location for all SMI equipment.
  6. Service/repair equipment as submitted.
  7. Launder and restock supplies as needed.
  8. Maintain and check fluid levels and air pressure in company vehicles. Ensure vehicles are operable. Inspect and report any damages.
  9. Perform minor maintenance to all fleet vehicles, any large repairs will be done by certified mechanic and company.
  10. Wash and clean out vehicles as needed.
  11. Provide basic handyman and other scheduled project work to customers as directed DOO.
  12. Update and maintain SDS information and proper labels for all chemicals that are in stock and/or used by SMI employees.
  13. Keep company property and warehouse clean at all times. Police perimeter and entryways for debris.
  14. Perform small maintenance duties to the facility as needed, AC, Heating, structural, etc.
  15. Deliver supplies to designated accounts as needed.
  16. Requires adherence to all policies and procedures, including standards for safety, attendance, punctuality and personal appearance.
  17. Work with Snow crew during winter season on occasion before opening hours to shovel and/or apply snow melt for safety purposes of employees and customers.

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Assists in other areas of assigned accounts and the company as needed.
  2. Performs other job related duties and special projects as required.
  3. Substitute at any day account when needed as determined by management.
  4. Work as a team member in the Operations Department and all other departments.
  5. Respond to any service and emergency call outs as needed and determined by management.
  6. Respond and assist with emergency fleet issues, during and on occasion after hours in or out of town.
  7. On occasion it may be necessary to open up secured areas within the warehouse and sheds for emergency purposes after hours when the need arises.
  8. Run errands as needed.
  9. Help with start-ups as part of group effort and direction.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  1. Hearing: Adequate to perform job duties in person and over the telephone
  2. Speaking: Must be able to communicate clearly in person and over the telephone
  3. Vision: Correctable to 20/20, full range of vision and absence of medical or legal restrictions or impairments prohibiting the holding of a valid driver's license. Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and computer screens
  4. Other: Requires occasional lifting and carrying items weighing up to 65 pounds. Requires manual dexterity to operate equipment and perform manual responsibilities
  5. The following physical activities are necessary to perform this job:

Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing (talking and hearing can be accommodated) and repetitive motions
