About the Position

Customer Driven Staffing is seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Barista to join a hotel resort café in Pompano Beach. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in hospitality and providing exceptional guest service in a fast-paced resort environment.


The café operates 7 days a week, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, serving resort guests with specialty coffee beverages, breakfast items, lunch options, pastries, and snacks.


Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare espresso-based beverages, including lattes, cappuccinos, americanos, and specialty coffee drinks.
  • Prepare cold beverages, smoothies, and other café menu items.
  • Operate the cash register and accurately process guest transactions.
  • Reheat breakfast and lunch items following food safety procedures.
  • Maintain product displays and merchandise sales area.
  • Keep the café clean, organized, and stocked throughout each shift.
  • Provide excellent customer service while creating a welcoming experience for resort guests.
  • Follow food safety, sanitation, and company policies at all times.
  • Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Previous barista, coffee shop, café, restaurant, or customer service experience preferred.
  • Cash handling and point-of-sale (POS) experience preferred.
  • Friendly, professional, and dependable.
  • Ability to multitask during busy periods.
  • Comfortable standing for extended periods.
