Summary:

The Restaurant Supervisor possess strong leadership, communication and relationship skills. They are expected to support senior leadership by developing and assuming basic leadership responsibilities. This role leads other associates by coaching, giving direction and may include training, scheduling, payroll and interviewing, procuring product, marketing and helping staff with whatever they need to make them thrive while at work. The Supervisor must demonstrate fundamental food and beverage knowledge and ensure that each outlet (MKT, Q Kitchen and Bar) is equipped with the essential supplies. The supervisor is responsible for the overall success of service and is expected to maintain a strong presence on the floor. These are just a few of the core job duties this person will be required to execute but are not limited to.
This position plays a significant role in the overall performance of the food and beverage outlets, which includes product quality and service standards. Hyatt associates work in an environment that demands exceptional performance yet reaps great rewards. Qualifications:
  • Preferred candidates will have at least 2 years of food and beverage experience, which should include at least 1 year of working in a food and beverage supervisory role.
  • Must be able to work any shift on any day, including weekends and holidays.
  • Refined verbal and written communication skills
  • Present a professional appearance and confidence
  • Candidates should be extremely detail oriented, organized and be able to handle a fast-paced environment
  • Strong time management & multi-tasking skills with the ability to work well under pressure
  • Demonstrate positive leadership characteristics, which inspire employees to exceed standards and expectations
  • Expert knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Excellent customer service and interface skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and to delight customers
  • Strong food, N/A beverage, and alcohol knowledge
  • Must be TABC and Food Handler Certified
