Job description

Do you love Pop Culture? Are you organized, passionate, and detail oriented? Then we invite you to join our Licensing Team here at Hot Topic as a Licensing Coordinator. Our Licensing Coordinators will work alongside our Licensing Specialist and support the Hot Topic Licensing team. This role offers administrative support to the in-house licensing team as well as communicates and follows up with internal teams and external licensing partners.
This role operates on a hybrid schedule and will require to work from our HQ located in the City of Industry, CA 3 days a week.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Oversee all aspects of the licensed product process from concept to distribution for multiple licenses
  • Photograph and ship samples
  • Track compliance and adherence to all contractual requirements with the Licensing Specialist
  • Monitor contract status from negotiation through execution
  • Coordinate and maintain accuracy of product tracking sheets, licensor submission portals, royalty reports, sales reports and SKU set up
  • Main contact for internal communication regarding contractual rights and obligations
  • Attend internal and external meetings, and respond to follow ups as needed
  • Serve as the point person for licensor requests, and work closely to communicate key issues and resolve potential issues
  • Performs other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU'LL NEED
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or relevant experience
  • Licensing understanding a plus
  • Heavy data entry familiarity
  • Must have strong attention to detail for compliance and audit purposes
  • High level of organization and ability to manage multiple projects with various deadlines
  • Excellent time management skills to help successfully prioritize and complete projects on time
  • Strong follow-through
  • Proven communication skills; must be articulate and professional both in written and verbal forms
  • Ability to work proactively, independently and reliably under tight timeframes in a fast-paced environment
  • Regularly required to sit, stand
  • Occasionally will lift/move samples up to 10 pounds.

$20 - $20.50 an hour
