WE’RE HIRING IN VALDOSTA, GA!
Jones Welding & Industrial Supply is looking for a dependable, experienced CDL Hot Shot Delivery Driver to join our Valdosta team.
This is a hands-on driving position focused on making local and regional hot shot deliveries for our customers. We’re looking for someone who is safe, reliable, professional, and comfortable working in an industrial environment.
What you’ll be doing:
• Making local and regional hot shot deliveries in a company vehicle
• Loading, securing, transporting, and unloading customer orders
• Delivering welding supplies, industrial products, equipment, and other materials
• Completing delivery paperwork and maintaining accurate records
• Performing basic pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Keeping the delivery vehicle clean and organized
• Providing friendly, professional service to customers
• Assisting with warehouse or store duties as needed between deliveries
What we’re looking for:
• Valid CDL required
• HazMat endorsement is required
• Good driving record
• Dependable and safety-minded
• Comfortable with local and regional driving
• Ability to safely lift, move, load, and unload products throughout the workday
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Previous delivery, commercial driving, industrial supply, or warehouse experience is a plus
• Welding knowledge is a plus, but not required
• Previous cylinder handling experience is a plus, but not required
• Strong work ethic and willingness to jump in wherever needed
