Full job description
The Pan Restaurant is looking to hire a hostess/host. Hostess will greet, welcome and sit guests. Hostess is responsible to maintain their area clean, menus clean, entrance area clean. Hostess will help other team members with any other duties. Must not be shy and must be able to speak to guests, welcome them, thank them. Bubbly and friendly personality. At The Pan we provide EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE! This position is full time, Weekdays 8:45am to 2:45/3pm. Sat/Sun 7:45am to 3/3:30pm. Must be available holidays. Days off will be weekdays. We are looking for an individual with a great personality, pleasant, loves to smile, loves to communicate with people, friendly and customer service oriented. Must be a team player and be able to work in fast-paced environment. The Pan is known for the Amazing food we serve as well as the Amazing Service we provide. We hire individuals that can be part of making The Pan an Amazing place. Come join us!
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant
- Escort guests to their tables and provide them with menus
- Assist guests with any inquiries or special requests they may have
- Manage seating arrangements to ensure efficient service
- Maintain a clean and organized host station
- Collaborate with the waitstaff to ensure smooth and timely service
- Handle guest complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the restaurant industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
- Knowledge of phone etiquette and professional demeanor
- Familiarity with POS systems
