RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Makes memorable first and last impressions with a smile.
  • Greets incoming and departing Guests in a welcoming manner. Seats guests in the dining and bar areas, while ensuring a smooth handoff to service staff.
  • Coordinates wait, and seats Guests with a sense of urgency.
  • Always smiles and has genuine conversations with Guests.
  • Demonstrates teamwork by supporting all areas of the restaurant as business needs arise. Teamwork is essential and expected of all Outbackers.
  • Commitment to food safety, cleanliness, job safety and sanitation standards.
  • Busses tables, delivers food and supports the dining room, while ensuring every opportunity to WOW our guests is fulfilled. Teamwork is essential and expected of all Outbackers.
  • Will have a general knowledge of the food and drink menu and be able to recommend and upsell products.
  • Answers the phone in a prompt and professional manner and directs calls.
  • Leads the lobby experience for each Guest, following Outback hospitality standards.
  • As a Servers Assistant, you will be assisting guests and supporting Servers by serving food and beverages, clearing and resetting tables, and ensuring a clean, welcoming dining environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to lift, carry or move up to 30 lbs.
  • Able to work in hot and cold environments.
  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours per shift.
  • Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, squatting and stooping.
  • Manual dexterity to handle glassware, utensils and technology systems.
  • Ability to move quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Visual ability to include distance, close, color, depth and peripheral. Also, the ability to adjust focus as needed. The role involves working in areas with low or dim lighting.
  • Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
