Job description

Security Officer

Security supports the mission of the Hospital by providing a safe environment for patients, visitors, volunteers, and employees. Also responsible to enforce policy, provide assistance and directions, and respond to emergencies and to provide protection to personnel, visitors, and property.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1+ years experience in the field of law enforcement and/or security; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing; additional languages preferred.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Knowledge of investigation procedures, de-escalating violence, hospital security, and protection mechanisms.
