Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical
Location: Central Maine Medical Center, Lewiston, ME
Employment Type: Full-time | Night Shifts | 7 PM – 7 AM | 12-Hour Shifts

Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to assigned Medical-Surgical patients
- Conduct ongoing assessments and monitor patient conditions and responses to treatments
- Communicate any changes in patient conditions, diagnostic results, and symptoms to physicians
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed
- Educate patients and their families while guiding nursing support staff
- Respond promptly and accurately to any changes in patient status
- Maintain precise and timely clinical documentation
- Ensure adherence to patient safety protocols, HIPAA regulations, and other compliance standards
Qualifications
- Possession of a current and valid state RN License
- Current BLS certification required upon hire and must be maintained
- ACLS certification preferred within 30 days of hire and must be maintained
- Prior experience in an acute care hospital setting is preferred
- Experience with ventilator management is preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred
