As a Registered Nurse within the Emergency Department at RWJ University Hospital New Brunswick, you will help advance patient care and strengthen the experience of individuals and families across our organization. As a Registered Nurse (RN), a typical day may include:
  • Conducting comprehensive patient assessments and recognize subtle clinical changes, using your judgment to intervene early and advocate for your patients

To be considered for this RN opportunity, you must hold an active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing and a current American Heart Association BLS Certification with at least 1 year of Emergency Room or acute care RN experience required. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is strongly preferred or must be completed within 5 years upon hire. PALS, TNCC and ACLS Certification is preferred or must be obtained within 6 months of employment. Prior 2-3 years of RN experience within Emergency Room or acute care is highly preferred and comfort with electronic medical record systems (EMR) like EPIC.
This position offers a Part-Time Day Shift schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday - Friday with weekend and holiday rotations, 36 hours per week, allowing you to build strong patient relationships while maintaining balance.
