Material Handler
Excellent opportunity for Material Handlers seeking hands-on experience in manufacturing, logistics, and warehouse operations with a leading biotech organization.
Our client, a biotech organization based in Hopkinton, MA, has a contract opening for a Material Handler. In this high-impact role, you will perform physical or administrative tasks involved in shipping, receiving, storing, distributing, and order fulfillment of merchandise, products, materials, parts, supplies, and equipment.
Important Details:
  • 12-month contract opportunity with possibility to extend
  • Hopkinton, MA- Fully Onsite (5 days/week)
  • Monday-Friday (40 hours/week)
  • Pay range approved: $20-24/HR, depending on experience
  • Shift: Mon- Fri (9:00 AM-5:30 PM)
Responsibilities:
  • Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, distributing, and order fulfillment of merchandise, products, materials, parts, supplies, and equipment.
  • Checks goods received and for distribution against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of goods, and rejects unsatisfactory items.
  • Packages and prepares products and merchandise for final shipment and posts weights and shipping charges.
  • Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift.
  • Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped.
  • Reviews customer orders, examines, stocks, and distributes merchandise, products, and materials in inventory warehouses, distribution centers, or manufacturing lines.
Minimum candidate qualifications and experience:
  • Education: High School Diploma required
  • 1-2 years of experience in material handling, shipping-receiving, warehouse, and forklift operations.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
