Job description

Inventory Control Clerk/Production

Resin Technician

Perform daily inventory activities in support of manufacturing operations and manage resin transfers from delivery vendors to silos.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage resin transfers from vendors to silos.
  • Once trained/certified, operate forklifts, pallet jacks and other machinery.
  • Reconcile MFG inventories on a daily basis.
  • Return inventories to handling units for transfer to the main warehouse.
  • Print shop orders and create job packets for machines.
  • Confirm production has adequate supplies of goods from main warehouse. Request product as needed to ensure production is uninterrupted.
  • Validate shuttles are empty in the system after Utility Workers complete unloading operations.
  • Cycle count MFG upper and lower levels.
  • Satisfactorily complete safety and compliance training courses as determined by management.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (both written and verbal)
  • Must possess working computer skills (MS word, excel, PowerPoint) with the ability to create and manipulate excel spreadsheets
  • This position requires standing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, pulling, climbing up and down stairs and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be comfortable working in a typical manufacturing environment with seasonal heat/cold and sound related to machine operation as well as maintenance and facility repair activities.
  • Must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by the task at hand.
