Environmental Services Technician

PRN - flexible hours and scheduling!

Mercy Hospital Logan County - Guthrie, OK

The Advanced Environmental Services Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and infection control standards within a hospital environment. This position requires advanced knowledge and skills in environmental services, with a focus on maintaining a hygienic and sterile environment to support patient care and safety.

Qualifications:
Education: None required. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience: None required. Preferred qualifications include prior hospital environmental service experience, prior work experience following written and verbal instructions, previous experience with performing manual tasks, prior experience working with the public, and customer service.

Physical Requirements:
Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat.
