Job description

The Distribution Technician performs routine and technical duties necessary for the continuum of supply
and instrument distribution hospital wide. These duties may include stocking, inventory, and dispensing
of supplies and equipment for clinical areas, and requires a working knowledge of handling of sterile
supplies. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with the mission, vision, and values of
Tampa General Hospital.

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in supply acquisition and inventory control in a medical setting.
  • Additional experience within warehousing or computer assisted inventory may be considered.
  • Demonstrated steady work experience in a high volume environment.
