Job Title: Plumber Helper

Location: DFW

Pay: $22-28

Job Description

Join a dynamic team on commercial construction projects, starting with an immediate opportunity at TCU in Fort Worth. This role offers a chance to grow in the plumbing trade while working on high-profile developments throughout the DFW Metroplex, including universities, amphitheaters, hospitals, medical centers, and data centers.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Journeyman Plumbers with the installation of commercial plumbing systems.
  • Install and assemble PVC, copper, cast iron, and other plumbing piping systems.
  • Measure, cut, thread, and fit pipe according to project specifications.
  • Assist with underground, rough-in, top-out, and fixture installation phases.
  • Install pipe hangers, supports, sleeves, and related hardware.
  • Read and interpret basic blueprints, layouts, and construction drawings.
  • Load, unload, and organize materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Perform jobsite cleanup and maintain a safe work area.
  • Follow all company and OSHA safety regulations.
  • Work alongside foremen and project teams to help keep projects on schedule.

Essential Skills

  • 1+ year of plumbing, mechanical, construction, or related trade experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with commercial plumbing systems is a plus.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
  • Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic construction math.
  • Dependable transportation and strong attendance record.
  • Willingness to work overtime and occasional weekends as needed.
  • Positive attitude and desire to learn the plumbing trade.

  • Experience with copper, PVC, cast iron, or PEX piping.
