Job description

Job Description Indrotec Staffing and Workforce Management is currently seeking a cook for the Hennepin County Medical Center in downtown Minneapolis.


This is a part-time position. Days during the week do vary but would require ability to work every other weekend.


Qualified candidates will be responsible for cooking large-batch meals from scratch using raw ingredients.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Cooking of meals from scratch (including raw meats) by following large-batch recipes
  • Ability to take temperatures and record them as food is being produced
  • Clean and sanitize station and food liners according to Food and Drug Administration guidelines
  • ServSafe Certified or the willingness to get certified

Requirements

  • Experience cooking in hospital setting
  • Experience cooking in large quantities for large groups
  • ServSafe Certification
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Culinary Arts degree or certification
  • Records of required immunizations (once hired)

Schedule

  • Full Time 10:30am-7pm
  • Days during the week may vary but does require every other weekend
  • $22.75/hour


Benefits:Health care insurance benefits available first of the month following 60 days of employment. Thirty (30) hours worked per week must be averaged in order to maintain coverage. 401k enrollment is available per the Secure Act guidelines. Earned Sick and Safe time is accrued and can be used per the State of MN guidelines.
