• Conduct thorough patient assessments to develop tailored acupuncture treatment plans based on individual health needs and medical histories.
• Administer acupuncture treatments effectively, utilizing sterile needles and adhering to strict aseptic protocols to ensure patient safety.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary, documenting findings and treatment outcomes in an electronic health records system.
• Engage in patient education regarding acupuncture procedures, benefits, and lifestyle modifications to enhance therapeutic outcomes.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with physicians, physical therapists, and massage therapists to coordinate comprehensive care for patients.
• Stay informed about the latest advancements in acupuncture techniques, evidence-based practices, and state regulations to enhance professional knowledge and clinical skills.

You will be working with a varied patient population that includes individuals suffering from chronic pain, stress-related conditions, and various musculoskeletal issues. Special attention will also be given to pediatric patients, pregnant individuals, and geriatric clients. • A valid license to practice acupuncture within the state of New York.
• A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited acupuncture program or equivalent certification.
• A comprehensive understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient communication and rapport-building.
• Proficiency in conducting patient assessments and physical examinations.
• Ability to efficiently use electronic health record systems for documentation purposes.

• Experience in a clinical or hospital setting, particularly with hands-on patient care.
• Previous involvement in interdisciplinary teamwork, specifically in the context of complementary and integrative health.
• Familiarity with treating pediatric patients as well as the ability to adapt treatments for various age groups.
