Job description

Heritage Hospice is seeking an experienced and compassionate Hospice Administrator to lead the daily operations of our hospice program. The Hospice Administrator is responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, overseeing clinical and administrative staff, managing budgets and resources, and maintaining the highest standards of patient care and service excellence. This role manages daily patient care activities, supervises clinical staff, ensures regulatory and Medicare compliance, and supports an interdisciplinary team approach.


Position Qualifications:

  • Minimum two years of experience in management/leadership in health care, preferably in Hospice or Home Care.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse, preferably.
  • Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or organization requirements and is in good working order.

Physical Qualifications:

  • Sitting at least 50% of your shift.
  • Must be able to bend, swoop, kneel, lift at least 30 pounds, and pull.
  • Must be able to speak and hear in a manner understood by most persons.
