About the Role

As a Sales Manager, you will play a key role in expanding Fluxergy’s presence within the veterinary diagnostics market by building strong customer relationships and helping deliver innovative diagnostic solutions to equine care providers. This is a highly relationship-driven role for someone who enjoys connecting with customers, understanding their challenges, and providing solutions that create meaningful impact.

We’re looking for a motivated and adaptable sales professional who is eager to learn, communicate effectively, and thrives in a customer-facing environment. Experience in equine, animal health, veterinary, or related industries is valuable, but just as important is the ability to build trust, learn technical products quickly, and translate complex information into practical value for customers.

What You'll Do
  • Build and grow relationships with equine veterinarians, specialty hospitals, and key industry stakeholders within your territory.

  • Prospect new business through cold outreach, referrals, conferences, webinars, and marketing-generated leads.

  • Schedule and conduct meetings, product presentations, and customer demonstrations to educate prospects on Fluxergy’s diagnostic solutions.

  • Manage opportunities throughout the sales cycle, from initial outreach through deal closure and customer onboarding.

  • Maintain accurate pipeline activity, follow-up tasks, and customer insights within CRM systems.

  • Partner closely with Account Management, Marketing, Application Science, and Operations to support customer success and testing utilization.

  • Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and customer events to generate leads and strengthen brand presence.

  • Consistently meet or exceed sales goals while delivering a strong customer 

What You'll Need to Have
  • 2+ years of sales, account management, business development, or customer-facing experience; equine, veterinary, animal health, or medical diagnostics experience strongly preferred.

  • Strong ties to the equine community through ranching, horse ownership, equestrian competition, veterinary work, breeding, training, or similar experience.

  • Proven ability to build trust and develop long-term customer relationships.

  • Experience with prospecting, cold outreach, and managing a sales pipeline.

  • Comfort learning technical or scientific products and explaining complex concepts in a simple, customer-friendly way.

  • Experience using CRM tools to track activity, opportunities, and follow-up.

  • Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent time management, organization, and territory planning skills.

  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently while staying highly accountable.

  • Coachable mindset with a willingness to learn, adapt, and continuously improve.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Business, Life Sciences, or related field preferred but not required.

  • Veterinary technician experience or equine-specific certifications.

  • Background in veterinary diagnostics, animal health, or medical diagnostics.

  • Experience selling into veterinary clinics or hospital environments.

Base Pay: $75,000 - $110,000/yr
