  •  Serve as technical lead on mid- to large-scale traffic design assignments, ensuring quality control and compliance with MUTCD, AASHTO, DOT, and applicable agency standards.
  • Prepare and oversee the development of studies, technical reports, construction plans, specifications, and estimates from concept through final delivery.
  • Coordinate with clients, public agencies, project stakeholders, and multidisciplinary internal teams to deliver successful transportation projects.
  • Manage staff assignments, workloads, mentoring, and resource coordination across traffic and related disciplines.

Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies:
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an accredited college or university
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license required
  • 8+ years of professional experience in traffic with a focus on signing and MOT
  • Design-Build and alternative delivery experience preferred

  • Hands-on experience with Synchro/SimTraffic, Vistro, and Vissim preferred
  • Experience in roadway design is preferred
  • Experience and relationships with DOT agencies are highly preferred
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, meet schedules and budgets, and maintain positive client relationships.
  • Ability to train and mentor less experienced staff with design and project delivery
  • A desire to grow personally and professionally with each project while working in a team environment to create designs and drawings supporting our client’s overall project goals
