Parts Sales Associate
Tom Wood Honda in Whitestown is seeking a knowledgeable, experienced, and energetic Parts Sales Associate to join our team. If you're passionate about autos and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is your opportunity to become a trusted expert for our customers and service department.
Location Note:
This position is currently based at our Anderson, IN location. Tom Wood Honda is excited to be transitioning to a brand-new dealership facility in Whitestown, Indiana, expected to open early 2027. Team members hired now will have the opportunity to grow with us through this exciting transition.

Key Skills & Competencies
MINIMUM OF 1 YR EXPERIENCE NEEDED
  • Customer Engagement & Communication:
    • Greet customers promptly and courteously at the parts counter or over the phone.
    • Resolve customer needs and concerns with professionalism and efficiency.
    • Provide knowledgeable advice on parts compatibility, availability, and pricing.
  • Product Knowledge & Inventory Management:
    • Assist customers in identifying the correct parts and accessories
    • Maintain and organize parts inventory with accurate counts and proper storage.
    • Stay current with products, parts, and industry trends.
  • Collaboration & Support:
    • Work closely with the service department to ensure timely availability of parts for service jobs.
    • Support dealership events and promotions through parts-related activities.
  • Adaptability & Physical Capability:
    • Handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
    • Lift and move parts and accessories as needed (up to 50 lbs).

Preferred Qualifications
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Previous experience in a parts role is a plus, but training is provided.
  • Knowledge of vehicles and parts is desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Valid license with motorcycle endorsement and clean driving record.
