Notes about this job: After-School Nanny Location: Nashville, TN Job Type: Part-Time Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM (No help needed on Wednesdays) Start Date: Aug 26, 2024 Position Overview: We are a family in Nashville seeking an energetic and reliable nanny to care for our 7-year-old daughter after school. This role involves picking her up from elementary school at 3:00 PM, bringing her home or taking her to after-school activities, and helping with homework. Our younger daughter will be at daycare, and your care will not overlap with when she is home. However, next year you may be caring for both children as our youngest daughter will be attending the same school as her big sister. We would love for someone to become part of our family and stay with us for a while. Responsibilities: - Safely pick up our daughter from school and drive her home or to scheduled activities. - Assist with homework and provide a structured, fun, engaging and fun environment free from screen time. - Light housekeeping related to our daughter’s activities (e.g., making sure she picks up after herself). - Run occasional errands as needed. - Potentially provide additional help during school breaks, such as Fall Break and December holidays. Requirements: - Must have a safe driving record and reliable transportation. - Energetic and able to keep up with an active child. - Experience working with school-aged children. - Must be responsible, reliable, and punctual. - Willingness to commit for the 2024-2025 school year at minimum.
