Job Description Custom Home Project Manager Job Description We are a small but growing custom home builder where everybody wears many hats. We pride ourselves on building homes to a higher standard, exceeding technical compliance. The roles and responsibilities of a Custom Home Project Manager are primarily in the field but include office time to focus on job schedules, documenting, and invoice processing.

Qualifications 5+ years' experience in construction 2 years' experience in project management Reliable transportation to include truck or reasonable construction use vehicle Ability to read blueprints, structural drawings and plans Experience managing budgets for large construction projects Ability to effectively communicate project process and progress to team and client(s) Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment Strong interpersonal skills Highly organized, responsible, and conscientious Ability to multitask and handle the customary complexities that come along with the custom home building profession Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as basic computer skills (Microsoft, Excel, Dropbox etc.) Experience with Builder Trend preferred Responsibilities Manage project timelines and budgets Efficiently Manage multiple projects in all phases Communicate with clients to convey job details, progress and expectations Recognize scope of work for each job and identify change orders Interact effectively with vendors, sub-contractors, clients, jobsite neighbors, designers, architects, etc. Ability to implement and enforce company protocols, processes and procedures Be resourceful, creative, and innovative, and propose new procedures or improvements to existing procedures Provide receipts and descriptions of material purchased on the company's behalf daily Maintain organized and clean jobsites Benefits: Competitive Compensation Flexibility or Focus on Work/Life Balance Positive work environment Vacation and Paid Holidays Monthly Vehicle allowance Opportunity for career growth Schedule: Monday to Friday Work Location: Charlotte NC and surrounding areas.
