Abernathy Home Care is seeking caring, dependable Homemakers to help older adults remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes throughout Danvers, Peabody, Beverly, and surrounding North Shore communities.
As a Homemaker, you'll provide companionship and assistance with everyday household tasks that make a big difference in our clients' lives. No hands-on personal care is required.
Whether you're looking for part-time, full-time, weekday, evening, or weekend hours, we'll work with you to create a schedule that fits your lifestyle.
What You'll Do
Our Homemakers help clients by providing:
  • Light housekeeping and home organization
  • Laundry and changing bed linens
  • Meal planning and meal preparation
  • Grocery shopping and errands
  • Companionship and friendly conversation
  • Escorting clients on walks or appointments
  • Medication reminders
  • Helping create a safe, clean, and welcoming home environment
