Job description

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Assistants to provide in-home support to our clients in Dearborn Heights, MI. As a Home Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and safety.

Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
  • Help with light housekeeping duties including laundry, meal preparation, and cleaning.
  • Assist with mobility and transferring clients safely.
  • Monitor clients' health and report any changes or concerns to supervisors.
  • Follow care plans and maintain accurate documentation of services provided.
  • Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in home care or related field is an advantage.
  • Compassionate, patient, and reliable with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
  • Ability to lift and assist clients as needed.
