Job description

Reports To:  Production Manager

Job Purpose: To perform home assessments and coordinate related handyman work, while occasionally executing related repairs.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of residential properties to identify potential maintenance issues.
  • Document findings in detailed reports, including photographs and recommendations for repairs or improvement using custom CRM and other software
  • Provide clients with an overview of the condition of their home and discuss any immediate concerns.
  • Execute minor repairs and routine maintenance tasks such as changing air filters, replacing light fixtures, caulking, patching drywall, and performing basic carpentry.
  • Coordinate schedules with clients and craftspeople to perform repairs and make small improvements.
  • Communicate with clients to keep them informed and up to date on services provided.
  • Maintain regular and consistent attendance, punctuality, personal appearance, cheerfulness, and adherence to safety procedures
  • Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for growth
  • Other miscellaneous tasks as requested

Minimum Requirements:

  • 3 years of home maintenance, home inspection, or similar role experience
  • Certifications in construction, home inspection, or related field preferred
  • High-school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Strong knowledge of residential building systems and maintenance practices
  • Basic remodeling skills needed for routine home maintenance and repairs.
  • Proficient computer skills, with the ability to use or learn new software
  • Perform duties in an efficient, professional, and courteous manner
  • Excellent organization, time management, attention to detail, and communication skills
  • Have your own transportation, valid class E driver's license, auto insurance, and ability to transport yourself and materials between job sites
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
  • Ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, work with your hands, climb ladders, and move 50 lbs. independently for extended periods of time
