Job Description

We're looking for a motivated Residential Pest Control Technician with experience in sales and home inspections. This role focuses on conducting detailed inspections, identifying pest issues, and closing sales while delivering excellent customer service.

In this position, you will have a daily route where you will treat customers' homes with various pest control treatments, techniques, and inspections. You will strive to solve customers' pest concerns while exemplifying excellent customer service, maintaining customer relationships, and providing strategic recommendations.

This position will have you perform pest control in the American Fork, Utah area. You will be operating remotely from our Orem, UT office.

New Hire training will be conducted in Orem, Utah for at least one week.

  • $23 – $33 + /hour (base + service & sales commissions + monthly bonuses)
  • Paid training at $18 / hour.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 months sales experience required.
  • Minimum 6 months of home inspection experience required.
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Customer-focused and self-motivated
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
  • You must be 18 or over.
  • You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • You must be clean-shaven for safety purposes (may occasionally wear a respirator).
  • You must be comfortable going into crawl spaces and attics.

If you have previous experience in pest control, HVAC, solar, internet, cable, running an independent route, or other types of in-home technician experience, we strongly encourage you to apply.

What to Expect

You will be treating approximately 12 to 14 homes per day. Routes will be created for you daily and will consist of the same customers for all their services, so that you can build relationships with your customers.

You will conduct thorough inspections of residential properties to find any points of entry for insects and rodents while identifying any pest infestations and coming up with appropriate treatment plans. You will communicate clearly with customers about any findings you have and share treatment plans, preventative measures to take, and any additional services we offer to help keep our customers pest-free.
