12-hour shifts:
- Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM
- Night Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
Schedule is 2-on, 2-off, 3-on, 3-off
Summary:
Tests and inspects products at various stages of production process and complies and evaluates statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following, other duties may be assigned.
- Verification of the Quality of product being produced
- Quality checks including SME, LMI, and visual inspection.
- Assists in containment of suspect material or product
- Measures parts to validate the product
- Disposition of suspect material, develop sort criteria, check web site for Quality concerns and investigate internally.
- Create Quality alerts.
- Perform monthly inspection in accordance to inspection report.
- Communicates with Engineers and Management regarding status of product
- Maintains a safe work environment in the QA zone and reject area

Education and/or Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One to three months' related experience and/or training
Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Have the ability to write routine reports and correspondence and the ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Quality Alert System and Microsoft Office Spreadsheet software. (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Other Qualifications:
Travel may be required for training or customer concerns.
