Description
We are looking for a certified home inspector to join our growing team! You'll inspect our clients' properties, flag any damage for repairs, and compile your findings into a detailed report. Responsibilities
• Compile and organize inspection results into a report that will give all parties a clear understanding of any potential issues that were identified
• Keep clients updated and promptly respond to requests so customers feel informed
• Complete building inspections prior to sale to ensure the home meets current standards for electrical systems, roofing, HVAC systems, plumbing systems, security systems, structural components, and building codes updates
• Estimate the potential cost to complete needed repairs, providing a range of options
• Schedule inspections with property owner to ensure full access to the property
Qualifications
• Comfortable walking on roofs and climbing in confined spaces, such as attics or crawl spaces
• 1+ year of previous work experience conducting home inspections or working in construction field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and customer service skills are a must
• Understands components of assessing needed repairs for an entire home, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, security systems, and more
• Must be able to manage very detailed aspects of the inspection and reporting process
• Well-acquainted with basic computer programs and email applications
• Can manage a variety of projects at once and stay organized
• Valid driver's license and able to travel by car
