Join a dedicated healthcare team in the heart of the Midwest region, providing critical emergency nursing care with compassion and expertise. As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, you will deliver direct patient care by applying the nursing process and demonstrating clinical proficiency aligned with professional nursing standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Adhere to established safety protocols including infection prevention, safe patient handling, and critical lab notifications to ensure a secure care environment.
  • Maintain and care for central lines and implement measures to prevent surgical site infections according to policy.
  • Administer medications, perform nursing interventions, and provide education to patients and families to support positive health outcomes.
  • Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments to monitor status, enhance quality, and communicate findings effectively to the healthcare team.
  • Document all patient care activities and quality monitoring data to support clinical decisions and compliance with quality standards.
  • Collaborate and communicate with physicians and team members to improve patient outcomes, while fostering teamwork and accountability.
  • Engage patients and families with timely communication and education to enhance their healthcare experience.
  • Apply critical thinking in nursing practice and pursue continuing education to develop skills and knowledge.
Education
Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required.
Experience
At least one year of nursing experience is preferred.
Certification and Licensure
