HHAs work in the homes of patients or clients. They may work with one person all day, or have multiple clients, depending on the needs of the patients. Duties of a home health aide may vary day to day and patient by patient. They may include house cleaning, preparing meals, and taking vitals.

What is a home health aide?

Home Health Aides are healthcare professionals who assist people with disabilities, chronic illnesses, or age-related issues in their homes. They provide personal care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as help with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders. Home Health Aides play a crucial role in helping clients maintain their independence and quality of life while remaining in a familiar environment.
