At Caring Transitions of Granbury, we help seniors and families through life’s transitions—downsizing, relocating, and liquidating estates. Our services include estate sales, online auctions, packing/unpacking, and organizing with a compassionate and professional touch. We pride ourselves on upholding the highest standards in presentation, customer service, and integrity.

Position Summary

We are seeking energetic, detail-oriented individuals with a passion for retail, art, and design to join our estate sale and online auction team. Team members play a vital role in preparing and managing on-site estate sales and online auctions, creating attractive displays, accurately pricing items, photographing merchandise, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Staging & Merchandising: Arrange household contents in visually appealing ways, using your eye for style and design to create a boutique-like shopping experience.

  • Valuation & Pricing: Identify and research items of value, especially antiques, collectibles, and art. Accurately price items for fair market resale.

  • Photography & Cataloging: Photograph and write descriptions for online auctions using our cataloging software. Attention to detail and presentation is key.

  • Customer Interaction: Provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance to customers during estate sales. Answer questions, process purchases, and promote a welcoming atmosphere.

  • Inventory Organization: Sort, clean, and organize household goods including furniture, décor, clothing, kitchenware, tools, and more.

  • Team Collaboration: Work efficiently with a team in fast-paced environments. Take direction while contributing ideas and insights.

  • Lifting & Moving: Safely lift, carry, and transport items weighing up to 40 lbs. Some furniture moving may be required.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Background in retail sales, visual merchandising, interior design, fine arts, or auction environments

  • Knowledge of vintage/antique items, art, collectibles, and home décor

  • Photography or content creation experience, especially with online platforms (e.g., eBay, CTBids)

  • Familiarity with staging techniques or organizing methods (e.g., Marie Kondo, Home Edit)

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Exceptional decision-making skills

  • Strong attention to detail and time management

  • Comfort using mobile devices, tablets, and online tools

  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to local job sites
