Job description

Seeking a professional with 3+ years in purchasing, specifically in the apparel/paper print/promotional products space. General purchasing experience is also fine.

General Tasks Include:

  • Purchasing apparel, paper print products & promotional items via sales orders and for the business
    • Mostly using companies such as Sanmar, S&S, Augusta Sportswear, Game Sportsware, SAGE and others
  • Tracking of orders and ensure timely and orderly delivery
    • Using mostly UPS, USPS & FedEx
  • Communicating with vendors on status of orders and if issues arise
  • Creating Purchase Orders utilizing our business software (Navision)
  • Occasionally input sales orders using internal part numbers
  • Part-time management of accounts and help with retail orders

Preferred Skills:

  • Multi-tasking
  • Technical experience, good with computers and purchasing websites
  • Knowledge of promotional and clothing/apparel products/brands
  • Experience with Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with Microsoft office
  • Experience with Navision business software
  • Organization and customer service preferred

Requirements & Benefits:

  • Full-time 40 hours a week required
  • Overtime hours as needed, paid at time & a half
  • Paid Vacation after 90 days
  • Accrued PTO - Earn 1 hour of paid sick/PTO time for every 30 hours worked
  • After 90 days of working you will get paid holidays which are: Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, 2 Days for Thanksgiving, 2 days For Christmas (eve & day) & New Year’s Day
