Home Based Tug Mates are maritime professionals who assist in operating and navigating tugboats, typically from a remote or home office location. They coordinate with crew on the vessel, manage schedules, monitor operations, and may handle administrative duties such as reporting and compliance. This position leverages technology to enable remote oversight of tug operations, supporting safe and efficient maritime towing and maneuvering. Home Based Tug Mates often have prior experience working on tugboats and are familiar with maritime regulations and communication protocols.
