Position Overview

Whole Body Orthopedic Rehab is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Centreville, Virginia. Work Environment

This role will be performed onsite within clients' homes, providing a unique environment that allows our therapists to address specific needs in a familiar setting. Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients recovering from injuries, diseases, or surgeries in their home environments.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing various therapeutic techniques, including exercises, stretching routines, manual therapy, and the application of specialized equipment to alleviate pain and improve mobility.
• Consistently track and document patient progress, treatment responses, and outcomes, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to align with evolving therapeutic goals.
• Educate and train patients, families, and caregivers on rehabilitation techniques and the proper use of assistive devices to foster independence and self-care.
• Stay current in professional knowledge by attending workshops, engaging with peers in professional networks, and participating in relevant professional societies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of our services is broad, catering to patients across all age groups with various orthopedic conditions related to sport injuries, post-operative recovery, chronic pain management, and general mobility issues. Our expertise allows us to effectively support each individual's journey to recovery, ensuring that therapeutic interventions are sensitive to personal circumstances and tailored to the needs of each client.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is highly preferred.
• Current State License in Physical Therapy, ensuring compliance with Virginia's professional regulations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members.
• Proficiency in word processing and standard computer applications for documentation and reporting purposes.
• A flexible, proactive approach to meet the diverse needs of our patient base.

Preferred Experience

• Prior work experience in a rehabilitation setting is advantageous but not mandatory, as we welcome recent graduates.
• Experience in home health care is a plus, highlighting adaptability to varied patient environments.

Compensation and Benefits
